Davis Calibration Completes GE Instrumentation Services Acquisition

BALTIMORE – May 24, 2006 – Davis Calibration , a world leader in the calibration and distribution of test, measurement and control instrumentation, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of GE Instrumentation Services. The acquisition of GE Instrumentation Services is another key component of Davis Calibration ’s strategy to deliver global services to the manufacturing, process and life sciences industries.

The combined company is the largest instrument calibration provider in the United States, offering a network of 28 coast to coast laboratories. According to President and CEO, Lee Rudow, “This acquisition will enable the company to support a broader scope of capabilities and add flexibility to an already comprehensive array of service options.”

Moving forward, Davis Calibration ’s investment in the acquisition of GE Instrumentation Services means current customers will benefit from GE’s calibration technology and market expertise.
