Accelerometer Calibration Expands Aerospace Capabilities

Davis Calibration implements accelerometer capabilities to its already comprehensive aerospace capabilities.

BALTIMORE (August 16, 2005) – Coming off the heels of the recent acquisition of Northwest Calibration Systems, Davis Calibration announced the addition of accelerometer calibration capabilities.

Davis Calibration ’s accelerometer calibration capabilities range from 10Hz to 10,000 kHz and has acceleration ranges from 0.5g to 10g with industry leading accuracies.

This capability will ostensibly attract aerospace, automotive and defense industries. Laboratory shake testing, high frequency measurements, and production screening are aspects standardized throughout the accelerometer calibration.

Davis Calibration ’s Austin Texas Calibration Lab Manager, April Bell, is pleased with the addition of the new capability. “Our physical dimensional and electrical calibration standards will surely suit a wide array of calibration programs, and simultaneously expand the company’s well-established aerospace and automotive capabilities.”
