Davis Calibration Instruments sets sight on high precision zoom
optics--introduces video inspection system

Scherr-Tumico Industries 9600 Series features structural rigidity and state of the art optic technology

BALTIMORE -- April 25, 2005 -- Davis Calibration Instruments, LLC, a subsidiary of JPB Enterprises, announced it has recently added a 9600 Series video inspection system by S-T Industries.

Davis Calibration ’s new system measures every small part pending the part’s size and weight. Its sensitive glass stage supports parts weighing up to 10 pounds and evaluates parts up to 6 inches tall and 12 inches in length.

The steel and solid granite base design supports larger measuring tables equipped with a rugged platform. The magnification lens has high resolution capabilities of 30X to 180X zoom optics and a resolution to 0.001 millimeters.

The 9600 measures anything from roundness and straight lines to measuring diameters and checking angles. It boasts features such as a dual crosshair generator, top of the line digital readout with dual screens and a separate electronics module.

The unit’s electronics are located in a separate module to help keep heat away from the rest of the system to reduce fluctuations in accuracy. The 9600 Series comes with a choice of three digital readouts. Davis Calibration ’s Baltimore headquarters has all readouts to assure accurate calibrations to its customers.
