Davis Calibration
Instruments introduces LABMASTER--takes
convenience to new levels in precision parts calibration
Pratt & Whitney’s LABMASTER provides Davis Calibration
with
simple, fast and flexible calibration capabilities
BALTIMORE -- April 21, 2005 -- Davis Calibration
Instruments, LLC, a subsidiary of JPB Enterprises, recently
announced its Baltimore headquarters gained in-house
capabilities to calibrate precision parts.
Davis Calibration
’s Pratt & Whitney LABMASTER will minimize
instrument error with precision force systems, resulting in
much faster calibrations.
The industry-standard LABMASTER switches from English to
Metric measurements at the touch of a button. Davis’ new
asset ranges in internal measurement from 0.02 inches to 14
inches and external measurement ranges from 0 to 13 inches,
and is accurate to 2 micro inches.
Davis Calibration
’s new precision capabilities eliminate
subcontracting processes for thread ring gages, gage blocks,
pipe thread plug gages and about any other precision part.
LABMASTER’s noticeable features add convenience to Davis Calibration
’s calibration process.
The Windows®-based control software, used in accordance of
LABMASTER, also simplifies data collection and speeds up
data entry. Use of two lab grade NIST gage blocks to
calibrate LABMASTER takes less than one minute, assuring
quality and accurate calibrations. Bi-directional probes
eliminate time consuming set-up changes. Wide direct-reading
ranges minimize set-up time and eliminate meter
interpolation, and because these features are expected to
simplify calibration, they will further faster the
costumer’s turn-around-time.
Davis Calibration
’s newly-enhanced line of calibration
capabilities including gas flow, minimum weight, precision
parts, video inspection and height measuring instruments
will offer customers competitive calibration services.
Physical Lab Manager, Dave Van Fleet, is confident of Davis Calibration
’s new assets. “The new assets’ technology makes our
job easier and that means our customers will see an easier
calibration process with faster results.”
