Davis Calibration - a world-wide business-to-business sales and calibration services organization, is seeking an “experienced” Sales Administrator for its Timonium, MD Calibration Laboratory. Our ISO 9002 and ISO17025 certified Calibration Laboratory serves hundreds of manufacturing organizations.

The following requirements relate to this position:

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

  • Develop new sales opportunities from incoming internet leads and phone calls.
  • Work with Outside Sales team in distributing leads for large opportunities.
  • Develop new and creative prospecting activities to increase sales leads.
  • Assist in customer resolution process to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Interface with all related business functions within a team environment.
  • Assist Proposal Team on large, strategic opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associate or BA/BS Degree or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years technical service experience in the test instrument and/or calibration industry.
  • 2-3 years telephone sales experience.
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient personal computer applications experience - Word and Excel.

Desired:

  • Negotiating skills
  • Technical writing and editing skills
