Davis Calibration - a world-wide business-to-business sales and calibration services organization, is seeking an
Inside Sales Person for our Timonium, MD Calibration Laboratory. Our ISO 9002 and ISO17025 certified Calibration Laboratory serves hundreds of manufacturing organizations.
Description of Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
As part of our sale team you will be responsible for:
- Develop new sales opportunities from incoming internet leads and phone calls
- Generate sales opportunities using cold calling and marketing techniques
- Partner with Outside Sales team on selling large opportunities
- Develop new and creative prospecting activities to increase sales leads
- Assist in customer resolution process to ensure customer satisfaction
- Interface with all related business functions within a team environment
- Assist Proposal Team on large, strategic opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years telephone sales experience
- Ability to work independently as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient personal computer applications experience – Outlook, Word and Excel. Salesforce.com a plus.
- Negotiation, technical writing and editing skills strongly desired.
Qualifications Preferred:
- 2-3 years technical service experience in the test instrument and/or calibration industry.
